Protect Yourself Online with This Simple Rule
TIP OF THE MONTH
“Think Before You Click”
Scam emails are getting sneakier—but you can outsmart them with one simple habit: pause and inspect before clicking.
✅ Here’s what to look for:
Strange sender address? If it’s full of random letters or doesn’t match the company name, it’s likely fake.
Urgent language? Phrases like “Act now!” or “Your account will be closed!” are red flags.
Unusual links? Hover your mouse over any link (don’t click!) to see where it really goes.
Jim’s Rule of Thumb:
“If it feels off, it probably is. When in doubt—don’t click. Call the company or ask me first!”
